Wheat Rava Upma Mix


Wheat Rava, green chilly, curry leaves, Bengal gram, black gram, salt, mustard seeds, red peanuts, red chilly, cold-pressed groundnut oil.

Boil 2 cups of water. Add 1 cup of rava upma mix and stir continuously without lumps on a low flame until rava is completely cooked. Cover and cook for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped coriander and a dash of lime or any podi / pickle and serve hot.

Alternatively, you can sauté finely chopped onions, tomatoes, carrots, beans, and peas and then add water to make vegetable upma.

Or you can add 1/2 cup of yellow or green mung dal to 1 cup rava and add 3 cups of water with little extra salt and veggies and make khichadi. Serve hot with lemon or mango pickle.
